You need the kmicrokdelibs for KO/Pi.
If you get install errors, please try to reboot, or retry to install.
I hope I get these strange error messages fixed in the next verson.

okay,
I have rebooted serveral times, I have tried to reinstall several times, I even removed (uninstalled) programs - in case the memory was the problem, but I still get the same errors. either I can't install cuz of ipkg has character problems, or just says ipkg error. I try with the install gui and the command line. Now what? Did you mean re-install cacko again? That I haven't tried yet. grrrr.. really frusterating, cuz this software did run once. I am sure it is user erorrer, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong!

Try it again from the command line and use --force-depends
This will make it install, not sure what's up with your ipkg lists, but it looks like they might have become corrupted (libc is pretty important and you wouldn't be able to use your Z unless it had been installed ;-))
You're using cacko, I'm not sure whether the base packages are added to the ipkg list file, this could be the cause of your troubles.

Make sure that you have also installed kmicrodelibs version 1.9.3 as korganiser will not work without it.
I have korganiser working on Cacko ROM.

Okay,
that worked! Yipeeeee!
Now, that I have loaded it thru the command line, I am trying to put a icon on my Z desktop. I have searched for faq/forums, but didn't quite find the answer yet.
I know I probably just need to find the right icon file, but then what? How does the desktop know/show the icons?
Thanks a lot!

Okay,
I have been searching this forum for trying to figure out how to "see" my Kpim icon . now from this msg here :
https://www.oesf.org/forums/inde...indpost&p=34479 (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5473&view=findpost&p=34479)
I found the icon, but I can't find the .desktop anywhere. I do find korganizer.desktop, but I can't edit the file cuz it says error: This file was not opened (I am using Tree!QT registered) This file is 1kb and is in
/home/QtPalmtop/apps/PIM directory. Now there are other files in there other apps.desktop, they will open and be edited.
I guess I need more precise instructions in how/what to edit the .desktop file.
Thanks alot! I was able to d/l & install korganizer 1.9.3a and d/l my outlook calendar to Korganizer. Trouble is, that I have to restart Qtopiz to get Korganizer to open. So, I want to get it running with an icon.
Thanks alot!
