Title: Strange screen rotation ...
Post by: misterpib on August 21, 2004, 12:39:32 am
Okay, so I was just using my Zaurus...had set it aside, in the cradle, for a while...still on and in landscape rotation...I went to rotate it back and, much to my surprise, my screen was upside-down...

I tried just restarting opie...and it didn't fix the problem..so I restarted my zaurus, and it seems to be working fine now..

anybody know why this would happen?

I'm running OZ 3.3.5 on my SL-5500...

It seems that OZ might have stored some variable in the RAM that made this issue occur.  I myself have had this issue on my 5600.

It can also be corrected by simply rotating the screen incrementally.  For instance, rotate it so that it is in the upside-down portrait mode, restart Opie, then repeat the process until you get the desired result.
