Title: Zaurus with Bluetooth Mics?
Post by: anmol10 on August 28, 2004, 05:01:32 pm
Hi all,

has anyone used Bluetooth mics with the Zaurus? We have connected the zaurus 5500/6000 using a CF Bluetooth module to several SPP bluetooth devices (www.media.mit.edu/wearables) - accelerometers, GSR sensors, etc.  I couldn't find any documentation about linux compatible (SPP) bluetooth mics? Any suggestions?

Also, any comments on connecting external mics (USB or otherwise) to the 6000?

Thanks,
Anmol

(ps. I would willingly trade the Sharp vision of VoIP - holding the zaurus to my face, for a Secret Service style wireless setup)

Some addtional info - using a bluetooth headset requires talking to it using the headset profile (HSP). I'm not sure if bluetooth implementation for the Zaurus supports this profile
