Title: Risk in putting in a new battery?

When I bought my 5500, it came with an extra battery and a portable charger.. NEAT! but, I was wondering.. if you take the battery out and swap it around with another, will it affect your information at all?  And if so, is there anything I can change so it won't do this in the future?

been a while since I looked at the manual...however I believe you have 30 secs or so to make the change...should be enough time.
