Title: C860 Fn key emulation on Pocketop via IRK
Post by: cowbean on September 08, 2004, 09:57:03 pm
Is there a solution for this?  I'm trying to use the various Fn + [key] combos for Netfront, such as text zoom (fn + 3 and 4, i think), open link in new window (fn + n), etc.

I tried using the codes returned by keyhelper conf, but that wasn't it.

I'm guessing perhaps there are qcop QPE/Application/netfront3 messages that can be sent?

This is on Cacko 1.21b ROM.

Thanks for any help!

You should be able to enter the keys via their codes. Only thing to note is that entering numeric keycodes in IRK is done in decimal, and in keyhelper I believe it's in hex.

Of course, if someone wants to buy me a C860 I'll look into it personally

Hi,

Try #8207 and #8208 at IRK key macro settings dialogue.
These are the codes for font size decrease and increase.

Fn+[a-z key] emulation has been implemented in IRK 0.10.1.
Use Shift+Cmd+[a-z key] or Cmd+Shift+[a-z key] for replacement of Fn+[a-z key].

I'm sorry if they don't work, I've tested them on my SL-C750(Japanese version) only.
