Title: compiling NetHack: Falcon's Eye

I compiled everything, launched make install, but everything end with an error: yacc: Command not found


where can I find YACC for pdaXrom?

ok, I'm a dumb: installed Bison



....but when I call it I get a "Broken pipe" error

Does anyone know how to get it working?

I vaguely remember something about a broken version of bison, maybe 1.75 or so? Search around for some info on your version, just, maybe, it's that...

compiling the 1.35 version of bison right now - it shpuld help

installed FLEX, too; then modified the /util/Makefile, writing to use bison and flex instead of yacc and lex

isn't falcon's eye hard coded to 800x600 min?

there was some reason it wasn't compiled before...

compiled... it starts.. the splash screen stay for a while and then it closes without error.

Sounds like a low ram issue, but I'm not sure

...and... yes, you need 800x600 screen


but the 800x600 windows starts, so I guess there's anoter problem (with ram, maybe)
