Title: E/J Software

Hi

Having restored my original backup so that everything is in English Ihave lost the icon and possibly the software for the E/J software.   All I have got is a icon with Eon Config on it that doe's not link anywhere.
Can anyone help me get back the tranlation software.   I have the original japenese rom with it on but then of course nothing is in English.

Assuming I have understood your question...

the E/J and J/E software relies on a couple of packages (with obvious names) on the CDRom. Once you've installed them it should be ok.

I　must　be　stupid　I　have　loaded　the　softwre　but　do　not　get　the　execution　icon.　Can　anyone　help

Well, I did say I wasn't sure I understood your problem...when I reset everything, I still had the basic software app but the E/J and J/E buttons were greyed out until I loaded those files. So sorrry, I do not know what has happened to the app itself!

Hi James

Thanks again for help.

I will un-install the translator software, if I ever need to use it I can always re-install the original all Japenese rom.   I will use babelfish for now.
