I don't know if this will work for Zaurus but for $13  for one (or buy a few for home and office and save on shipping since it is a flat $5 for upto 3 of them).

I would think it should work with the Zaurus since it (the printer)  supports IR printing and the Z's have an IR port, but perhaps a driver will be needed.  Haven't had time to dig around ZUG for info on IR printing but I recall a thread about it a while back.

As for the site itself, not much for support but I have bought at least 3 times from them in the past month and been very pleased each time.

Good luck getting an order in fast enough to snag one (or three  )

By The way, this is a THERMAL Printer, so no ink carts to buy and comes wiith a roll of thermal paper.  These printers generally run $20 to $30 on Ebay (before shipping)

Am I just being ignorant or is the Woot order page not secure? Secure websites use 'https' vs. 'http' usually (i.e. SSL).

I also have been looking for a travel printer, but I am not going to put my CC into a non-secure site. You are correct that the page is not secure.

Yes, I got some replies, looks like VERY confirmed that the site is NOT secured for checkout.

I recomend an avoid until they resolve the issue.

This was also at overstocked.com for a long while, and I got one a long time ago.

The big problem: NO DRIVERS (other than for some versions of Windows)

SiPix would not release information, and I never did the effort to reverse engineer the protocol (it works with a windows laptop, but I didn't try further).

Latest manuals and drivers but nothing for Linux/ARM (http://www.sipixdigital.com/)

I have gotten the source code for the latest driver software for he A6 Printer (THIS printer) for Windows CE  (and XP, 98, 2000 as well I believe).  I haven't got the source code for the last palm driver, but I have asked for it and should recieve it if it is still around.

I will moving all the source code into Sourceforge.net so this is a call out to any developers looking to code(port) a printer driver that supports IR to our beloved Zaurus series.  The Code is in CPP.....unfortunately, that is not my forte.

[span style=\'font-size:21pt;line-height:100%\']Anyone up for the task?[/span]

BTW, Woot issued an Update and fixed the security certificate here is the content about that fix as well as others:

1. Order duplication issues -....etc etc...
2. Credit card hold issues. ....etc etc...
3. Server speed and ordering bottlenecks ....etc etc...
4. Site Security Certificate. There was a temporary routing issue on our site security certificate this morning causing the site to not appear secure. This was addressed earlier this morning and won't be an issue again.
5. Last - please follow the limited rules regarding advertising on the woot FAQ. ....etc etc...
