Title: qpsword with sharp 3.13

I have downloaded both Qpsword and the KJV of the bible. I have installed both. The Bible is not there when I loan Qpsword. I am using Sharp Version 3.13 on 5500sl. I have tried loading to internal and SD. Any ideas what's wrong

Have you modified your /etc/sword.conf to point to the entire data tree?

The sword platform needs mods.d and the modules, if you get it installed right you can just copy the folder tree over, then update your sword.conf to point to the exact location.

Hi auburn74,

Here's an example - taken from my swordprefs.conf:

[bookmarks]

[layout]
SWORD_PATH=/mnt/card/usr/share/sword
bookIndexFrame=Off
lastSearchText=
ldFrame=Off
textFrame=On
verseSelectFrame=On

In /mnt/card/usr/share/sword I have copied over mods.d & modules (& locales I think) from my desktop machine.  (I ssh'd it over as a tar file then untarred on the Z)

I had this problem, but it was permissions, I needed to make sure the 'zaruus' user could read the books. ie. chown'ed the files

Hello to another Z bible reader. I love the program and heavily use the Websters Dictionary and RSV and KJV data I loaded on /mnt/card.
