Title: Kernel panic with oz 3.5.1 on 760
Post by: lekter on September 22, 2004, 07:57:10 pm
I installed oz 3.5.1 on my 760 and the result after booting is:

Many "Inode .... was a directory with children ..."
...
VFS: Mounted root (jffs2 filesystem) readonly.
Freeing init memory: 80K
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

Any hints?

Try formatting the user partition (using Cacko's install.sh) and rebooting.  Worked for me.

This didn't work. I reflashed three times more and with the last one it worked ok. Maybe it was a bad CF.
