Hiya,
I am trying out a new Motorola V180 cellphone to replace my increasingly grimy Kyocera 2135. I had a CD Card modem for the Kyocera, which worked fine with the Zaurus after a certain amount of tweaking. This new V180 has a Mini-B USB port. Can I get a mini-B to mini-B cable to dial out, or do I need to get a new card modem with a USB connector? Does anyone have any experience with this? My searches in the forums did not turn up much.

Odi,
I can't help you with your new phone, but sure would like to hear how you got your K 2135 working.
I've been struggling for 3 weeks trying to dial out using the Kyocera.
I am using a Socket phone card 8100-00180 Rev A on my SL-5600 using the Sharp Rom.
Do you have Verizon by any chance?

I'm also trying to get a connection from the Zaurus (6000L) to a cellphone via USB. Did you ever figure it out? I've got the cable that comes from the phone (Samsung N400 for Sprint) to a USB mini-A which connects to the Zaurus. When connected the phone says "USB Connected" so it sees that its got a USB connection but I don't know what to do from there.

Hi
I will have similar question soon after I receive my 6000. I have a Nokia 6230 and a usb cable. I am wondering whether the USB host of 6000 can do dialing.
thank you
