I have afterstep running, and it looks great so far.. but I may be missing something completely (keep in mind I\'m new to x11)... I can\'t seem to run anything.  When I click on the xterminal icon, nothing launches.  I click on the desktop, and I get a menu, but there\'s no apps, and under Modules]Forms]Run a command...  nothing works (shutdown -r now, setxdefault, etc.)

Any suggestions?

offroadgeek: Have you looked at the rc files for the window manager?  I remember that afterstep has a whole bunch of little ones rather than one monster live .fvwmrc.

Editing stupid .whateverwmrc-files is an X11 tradition I\'m not really looking forward to on the Z. So I think I\'ll stick with the default wm when I finally flash X11 onto my Z.

I\'m not sure how to configure AfterStep. I was just bored one night building packages for our ROM and decided to put it on and see what it looked like. I almost wasn\'t even going to release it. But decided that i might as well.

No criticism intended! I think its great you released it! Compiling anything but the simplest stuff is a real pain for me and I appreciate your work.

I couldn\'t get gkrellm to work... kept saying it was missing gdk libs.  Any pointers?

same here... the libs must be somewhere otherwise the screenshots would be tough to do

omin0us - where\'s the gdk libs?
