Is there anything with similar functionality to Cirond's pocketWinc, http://www.cirond.com/pocketWinc.html (http://www.cirond.com/pocketWinc.html), available for the SL-5600?  Thank you.

No Directly.

That is there is Kismet which will "sniff" all the WLANs, but it doesn't create a "preferred network" list making it easy for you to connect.
