Post by: TuxGeek on October 05, 2004, 08:38:47 pm
When I type

"#fdisk /dev/mmcda1" this error comes up.

Device contains neither a a valid DOS partition table, nor Sun, SGI or OSF disklabel
Building a new DOS disklabel.  Changes will remain in memory only, ....

When I try to format it through windows to put a fat partition on.  It just sits there.  Then I tryied it through the Command Prompt and this error came up.

C:\ format i:
Insert new disk for drive I:
and press enter when ready...
Error in IOCTL call.
