Special Kernel made by a Japanese. You can translate by the following links.

Translated: Special Kernel for SL-B500/C700/C750/C760/C860/5000 (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Ftetsu.homelinux.org%2Fzaurus%2Fkernel%2F&submit=%83E%83F%83u%83y%81%5B%83W%96%7C%96%F3&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2&wb_co=excitejapan)

As i know, the special kernel got preempt patch, overclock and special ATI chip overclock. But I havn't tried the overclock.

Also, this web site is a must for reading japanese web page.

Excite Japan Translation (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/)

Since it was recommanded by a Japanese.

To be on the safe side I would have said "Are you the same person"...

True... I actually thought the name 'Hilary' was a female only name 'til I worked with a male investor in Hong Kong also named 'Hilary' back in the mid 90's.

Excellent! Exactly why I asked whether you're the same guy who did the Palm version of the emulator   Let me know if you need a beta tester, my C760 will be ready for it

I too am using Sharp ROM right now. I have to admit I haven't played with my Zaurus much in the last few months and haven't upgraded the ROM to the latest and greatest, I was too busy writing software for Java phones.

If you have time, pls use the YAE to play some games that you would like to do on ur Zaurus.

Have you played with Frodo Port ?

I haven't had a chance to play with Frodo on Zaurus yet. I did spend sometime last year looking at Frodo since my business partner was hoping to port some old Commodore games over to Java phones.

hilarycheng - tried pdaXrom? Maybe you will find it easier to port to and also a lot faster <- Commercial break :-)

We would love to have one more good developer aboard - most people apparently use the Zaurus for gaming/emulator ;-)

Hilary,

So I've successfully run 'Rescue Raiders' and 'Taipan' on the emulator. No obvious bugs as of yet, just a bit slower than the real thing. Good job!

Hope this helps,
Mizzle
