I was bored and spent a whille setting up the cross compiler. Well, after extensive Makefile editing, I got xu4 to compile. unfortunately, I\'m no longer running the X11ROM because I can\'t live without my pockettop IR keyboard. However, all the neat stuff that is coming out is starting to entice me back. Anyway, you need to download the DOS version of the game from the xu4 website. Just throw the zip file and the u4 executable in a directory and ./u4.
As it is only one binary file, I don\'t think there\'s much point in creating an IPK. Is there someplace I can upload this file so people can try it out? Sorry I can\'t post a link, I haven\'t got anyplace on the web to put it.

yes, immediately! I\'ll try it.
If you can tell me where to get it, I\'ll host it at www.spy.org/zaurus/public/feed or some place.

ps: I don\'t have an upload capability at the moment... but I can get from you, etc. If you
know a public FTP where we could temp-bounce it, etc, let me know.
Any chance of exult working under x11?

If it\'s <2mb, anyone can upload it directly to the ZUG server via the downloads area. Maybe I\'ll increase that file size limit someday...
-
ok, will do. It\'s like 150KB.

I\'m getting an error when I try to upload the file:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(modules/UpDownload/store_folder/Packages/Games/u4.gz): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/zug/public_html/modules/UpDownload/dl-adddownload.php on line 500
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move \'/tmp/phpK8yibf\' to \'modules/UpDownload/store_folder/Packages/Games/u4.gz\' in /home/zug/public_html/modules/UpDownload/dl-adddownload.php on line 500
ERROR! Could not upload file.

I tried using Mozilla instead of Safari and the upload succeeded. Have fun!

good timing! I also got the error so I checked the permissions and they were wrong for that directory. my bad!
anyway, it\'s fixed now, so anyone should be able to upload to the downloads area
