Title: MPlayer Problems
Post by: LavaDevil on October 10, 2004, 05:09:15 pm
I'm running MPlayer 0.90pre10 on an SL5500, and I can play the video alright, but the audio/video sync is way off. The audio gets ahead of the video, and sometimes the audio stutters for a second. Also, when I exit MPlayer, the video leaves artifacts all over the terminal/menu bar. Any ideas?

How large is your video file?
I have no problem playing 320X240 5fps LOL.....
24min is only 15mb

I tried to play anime dowloaded directly from animesuki.com...
Well, it played...for the first 5 seconds...then.......=______=
that file size is
640X480, 23fps,
24min avi have the size of 178-212mb......

Or might be is the video problem???

Thanks for replying, I learned that you have to encode it at a lower FPS and use -framedrop to keep it in sync, almost no skipping, I'm impressed .
