Title: Plans for OZ Imageon100 Acceleration?
Post by: stupkid on October 15, 2004, 03:42:18 pm
Are there any plans to incorporate the library from Sash to provide Imageon100 acceleration on the Cxx0 model Zaurus?  It would be nice.

Already MPlayer (OE version) can use aticore library on Cxx0 zauruses - I don't know about others (don't have Cxx0)

Sorry to dredge this up...

When you say 'can use', so you mean that it can use it if I specifically install it, or that it does use it as it's either pre-installed, or statically linked?

I also note from this thread (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6574&hl=w100) that sashz had produced something which should work with softfloat, has there been any progress adding this to OE.

[My reason for asking was that I tried playing a movie clip on my C750 GPE and it wasn't great; I was then trying to flash to Opie and had input/output errors on /home, so flashed pdaXrom - to use the NAND tools, and take a look-see - and the movie clip played perfectly.]

To tell the truth I can't really remember now; plaympeg or something like that, which comes from another package with a different name (but with mpeg in the name iirc - it was the only thing in the feed I could think to install to play mp3s and movie files).
