Title: Enabling Zaurus SL NDIS Network Adapter.
Post by: ddadon112 on October 23, 2004, 10:33:54 am
Can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong

I have recently updated my zaurus sl 5500 to rom version 3.10  with the latest intellsync software for my pc. I'm running on xp.

I currently cant sync with my pc, i get the error  attached to this post.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software and drivers in the correct order  several times but to no avail. I tried connecting through the usb tcp/ip but i cannot enable my  SL NDIS Network Adapter. It tried to enable the adapter then comes up with connection failed.

I disabled my firewall during the period.

Can anyone please tell me how to enable it or get this thing working... I'm pretty new to the zaurus and i'm getting frustrated....

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello ddadon112
I have the same problem here.
My Zaurus is 5500 but ROM is still v 2.7. Win XP Pro.
Trying to install v3.1 I was trying to connect it to sync and found out the same issue. NDIS 5 can't be activated.
Let me know when u'll find solution and for sure i keep trying. As soon as i fugure out what's wrong I'll let you know )

I know this has been previously discussed at length in the forums. A guick search turned up this thread (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5982&hl=).
I'm sure there are others. Hopefully this helps with your problems.
