Howdy,
Investigating some options at the moment for my Z; one would possibly be to join up with a decent GPRS GSM deal with a mobile phone provider.
Missing link is a CF GSM card; I've looked around and only found some I could ship in from the US, but it'd end up costing me about AU$500, and I've got no guarantee it'll work with the Z.
My guess is if the thing (like a lot of GSM PCMCIA cards) shows up as a serial port, and lets me feed AT commands to it, I can then get things working.
Anybody done this? Anybody know of places that sell Z compatible cards cheaply? Any downsides to this approach (the alternative would be to possibly get a CF Bluetooth card and use my normal phone, but then that ties up that line).
