Title: OK button as Enter
Post by: MrSquishy on October 25, 2004, 04:20:02 pm
I am guessing this is going to disappear off the bottom of the board like all the other keymapping questions, but how do you go about setting the "OK" button to function as Enter like it did in older roms?

Is there a reason this would be bad, such as it is a special system reserved key like Cancel  is?  It'd be nice to have one more button remappable for Snes9X, or to be able to launch the Quick command list for embedded-console without having to lift the zaurus out of the cradle (yeah, Im that lazy).

The only info I have been able to dig up on binding keys is all for pdaXrom stuff.  Does OPIE have a keymap file/program of any kind?

Thanks

Yeap you can do keymapping in OZ, there is a program that you can map 4 of the key of Zaurus, at least my 5500 does
I mapped 1 key w/ the monitor off and another key w/ the monitor on.
Is pretty useful for listening to mp3.

But the file got to be a desktop file/program.....
I don't know how to say it ....but applet won't work in key mapping program

I guess you want to check out opie-zkbapplet - it uses XML files for keymaps and they seem to be pretty straightforward. I'm not sure whether it can map the OK key though. If it doesn't do what you want, you may also try opie-custominput which is supposed to be insanely configurable - I never found out because it kept crashing.
