Hi:
I received my Zaurus Aircable today and had a hell of a time with it. Can't make it pair with the phone.
I've read a couple of posts of users here who got it to work with a 760 and 860, so there must be something I'm missing. I have an 860.
According to the instructions here (http://aircable.net/AIRcable/ZaurusCellTech.html) I thought that you just plug the Aircable in, then depress the little reset button on it for five seconds and then the blue light should start blinking, searching for a connection, when you can pair it with the phone.
Is this so?
What happens is when I plug the unit it, the blue light gives just one blink and that's it. When I press the reset button for 5 secs, it also only blinks once, i.e. no flashing nothing. So it obviously isn't trying to pair. Obviously the phone doesn't discover any new bluetooth device.
What am I doing wrong? Did anyone have this issue?

Turns out when no process opens the serial port, the Aircable goes into suspend mode.
What I had to do was type:stty 115200 raw then press and hold the button for five seconds. It goes into slave mode this way, then you press it shortly once again, and it goes into a master service mode and starts looking for a device to pair.
Then it will find your phone and you won't have problems making it pair.

By "button", do you mean the reset button on the bottom of the Aircable?
(Requires paperclip)
