Title: OpenZaurus w/ different langauge
Post by: Mahoro on October 26, 2004, 02:30:40 pm
I got some problems for the web browsing.
I installed both opera and konqueror in my Z and wonder if it can display langauge other then English.
I had install (linked to the font library and worked in zbedic) Chinse fonts and looking for Japanese fonts (doubt where it is)

However, I have some problems browsing Chinese or website other then English.
There is no problem if that website is UTF8, but............
Most websites use character encording other then UTF8
LIke BIG5, SHIFT-JIS...etc...

I wonder if I can get the view those inside my Z....

With opera you will need add the font you want to ~/.opera/opera.ini in mine it was the last line of the config file (DefaultFont=helevetica or something) haven't worked out how to change encodings yet.

IS that Opera 6 or 7?
I manage to install 6 in my OZ 3.3.5 but can't for 7...
It said I have missing the mouse.ini, keyboard. ini, voice.ini, etc....
Which lead to sigev....
And I doubt 7.55 works as well.
Also, where can I find 7.55
