Title: simple question (?)
Post by: donotresus on October 27, 2004, 05:55:43 pm
Hey,

This may be a completely studid question, but here goes.

I have a Zaurus 5500 running 3.5.1, the system information screen says Internal Storage - Available 36kb but the Internal Memory has 31Mb free.

How can I install apps to the Internal Memory??

Which ROM did you install?

The sysinfo display displays the available size for the tmpfs (RAM based) filesystem. You can't install stuff to this, it's just used for temporary files (and is expanded/contracted to fit requirements).

If you installed something other that 64-0 then you do have a RAM disk too, and this should be mounted on /mnt/ram. You may need to add a dest entry to /etc/ipkg.conf so that ipkg can use it.
