Title: lirc on C750

Hi there,
I just wanted to know if anybody has been successful in installing lirc on a C750 with kernel version 2.4.18. There is a package available at http://killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1245 (http://killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1245) which should work, but when trying insmod lirc_sir.o it just says:

lirc_sir.o: unresolved symbol ucb1200_set_io
lirc_sir.o: unresolved symbol ucb1200_set_io_directionDo I need another library, or is it just not possible?

Hi Wittas,

I have exactly the same problem - did you find a resolution? I'm using the Cacko v1.21b ROM on a C860.

unfortunately I didn't find any solution and currently stopped working on it.

Ive got lirc running on my 750.....plus opie remote...works fine just the range is a little limited and the position of the IR port makes things a little tricky.

I have lirc-modules-2.4.18-slc700 and lirc-ubkit-zaurus installed

you should easily be ably to find these but can send if you really need them.

useful command for making config file for your remote.....`irrecord` or something like that hehe...

THis is AWESOME! Is it possible to have this converted for RC12 and for Zaurus C860?
I have been looking for LiRC a LONG time.
