Where can I go on the internet and download the software (for initial install to PC?).

For which Zaurus device???? You want to include the device (and sometimes the system ROM version) in your postings.

Yes and thanks for the response. It 'appears' you are getting the 6000 ....then, when you view the executable, you see its for the 5500.

I still don't know which Zaurus model you are looking for software for... If it is the SL-5500 / SL-5600 then go to http://myzaurus.com (http://myzaurus.com) and 'Downloads'. If it is the SL-6000 then don't go there.
If the model you have is the SL-6000L (USA) then I think Sharp is hosting this at SharpUSA. I just went through registration at
http://sharpusa.com/zregister (http://sharpusa.com/zregister)
and I was eventually able to navigate to
http://sharpusa.com/products/TypeSoftware/0,1086,112,00.html (http://sharpusa.com/products/TypeSoftware/0,1086,112,00.html)
which is 'Products & Support' ... Business ... Handhelds .. Zaurus Enterprise Mobile Tool ... Software
and download hpc_soft_installcd.exe
I don't yet know if this is the correct file since I'm not running Windows to unpack it.

Thanks again Lumi, yes - that's what I downloaded earlier yesterday....it's actually for the 5500. Also, sorry for not giving a direct answer yesterdday.....my model is the SL-6000.
Good news, however.......Sharp support did respond via email and here is their input---- > Check at www.sdgsystems.com for the software you are looking for.
