Title: Ridiculous Bug on GPE
Post by: mpray on November 03, 2004, 08:32:48 pm
On OZ 3.5.1 and GPE on an SL-5500, it seems that by modifing my user information causes the login screen to hang.  The only way I can figure out how to recover from this is reflashing the Z.  Anyone else with this experience, or is my Z just borked?

Nope your Z's fine.  Theres a few problems with GPE as described here (http://www.openembedded.org/oe_wiki/index.php/OzReleaseNotes).  Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version 'cause the OZ team is soo awsome.

Alternatively, upgrade to OZ3.5.3, where this bug has been fixed

Actually, I was using 3.5.3 (with GPE) and was still experiencing the problem, although since I switched to 3.5.3 and Opie, I have not had the problem
