Title: Selecting text in Opera
Post by: ShiroiKuma on November 10, 2004, 05:52:58 pm
When I'm browsing pages in Opera on the Z, sometimes there is text that I'd like to copy off of the page.

How do you select it? In other browsers you simply drag the stylus across the text and it's selected. Opera only moves the page this way, doesn't select no text. How do you select text in Opera?

In Opera, go into Preferences/General and select the radio button "Scroll with selection".
This will de-select "Grab and move".
Tap on Apply and OK.
Now you will be able to drag your stylus on the text.
The page will not move, and the text will be selected.
Note.. you might have to exit Opera and restart it for the new setting to take affect.
