I downloaded GIMP from the pdaXrom feed (http://www.pdaxrom.org/ipk_feed.php?menuid=11) and got the same errors described here. (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5503)

I've been hoping someone will sort this out soon, since I'm not aware of any custom roms designed to work with the 6000 yet, and am therefore hesitant about trying to install custom roms in general.

Has anyone successfully installed pdaXrom on the 6000 yet?

openzaurus works pretty well on the 6000.
If you are after firefox it runs nicely through pocket workstation and xqt on sharprom as told in the pinned debian xqt stuff on the top of this thread.

it would really be nice just to see a select set of apps..like minimo, firefox...maybe even abiword and gnumeric working under xqt though.in both sharp and oz opie
