Title: Post Install Memory Layout

Sorry if this question has already been answered elsewhere, I am hard-pressed to find an answer.  I have installed the latest and greatest OZ ROM 32-32 on my SL-5500 device, and I notice, that I have the regular 32 MB for operational memory, but for storage it lists 14464 KB for /dev/root, 31729 and 15068 for storage.  How does this all break down?  Are they using some of the flash for storage?

The 32-32 means that the RAM is split into 32Mb for 'RAM' (program use, etc.) and 32Mb for a RAM-disk (so 64-0 would have no RAM-disk, etc.).

The /dev/root is the flashROM which is where most stuff resides; this is writable with OZ.

The 15068 kb storage space you mention is probably the maximum size of the tmpfs (which is where /tmp and possibly /var are mounted); afaik this is a resizable filesystem which sits in RAM - the program-running type - to save space and flashROM wear.
