Title: How Do You Do That In Linux - New Web Address
Post by: cmisip on November 26, 2004, 12:10:42 am
Just FYI for those interested, the new address for my site is at:

How Do You Do That in Linux (http://home.comcast.net/~cmisip/index.htm)

The old site will likely disappear at the end of November.

those zaurus how-tos would be a great addition to the ZUG how-tos...  to bad the zug how-tos suck right now for accessability...  (that will all change soon though )

Unfortunately, I dont have pdaxrom and I dont know anything about it.  Other pdaxrom users should be able to help.  The creation of the swap file should be the same in all ROMS though, its just a matter of integrating the activation of the swap with whatever boot scripts you are using.

I updated the new website with instructions on building a soft-float toolchain using cross tools and a quake binary with soft float for testing.  The old site will never be updated.

Hi cmisip,

Someone recommended that I check your webpage for help with 'dev_img' setup. I've been having troubles getting dev_img-1.5 to work on my new C3000.

For info, see my post:

https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...t=0&#entry63198 (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10201&pid=63198&st=0&#entry63198)

However, when I've tried to see your webpage the past few days, I get the following message:

PAGE UNAVAILABLE

This URL you typed is unavailable at this time.

Is it unavailable?

If so, is it possible to email me the text of this section, so that I can try and figure out how to get this working?

Really appreciate any help!

Thanks,

Mark

There's a lot of useful information there, but alas, it's gone, I'm having the same error. I'm sure they'll let you put it up here if you ask nicely, but that's not my place to say. I just thought it would be the best spot for it. EDIT: Or you could just take the time to include it all in the ZUG How-To section in the appropriate sections.

The web site is up again though I have not much time to tinker with the zaurus and the pc currently as I have just moved to a new house.

May still be incomplete.

The new address is http://home.mchsi.com/~cmisip/index.htm (http://home.mchsi.com/~cmisip/index.htm)
