Hi Everyone !!!
Just a quick dumb question...does the Zaurus support a TFTP Server ? (TFTPD). I tried several times setting the in.tftpd daemon in the inetd.conf file and if I try to put or get, the tftp client just times out. I\'e also run a scan on the Z looking for udp/69 and it doesn\'t show. Any help or ideas would be appeciated !!!
Thanks !!!

Not on there despite the entry in inetd.conf.
Try a search on the devnet. For example:
http://www.zaurus.com/dev/board/index.php?...ic=6693&hl=tftp (http://www.zaurus.com/dev/board/index.php?showtopic=6693&hl=tftp)
http://www.zaurus.com/dev/board/index.php?...ic=3766&hl=tftp (http://www.zaurus.com/dev/board/index.php?showtopic=3766&hl=tftp)
And a few more to boot.

Thanks Lardman !!! I\'ll check those out. I did get the IPK for the TFTP http://zaurus.newkirk.us/tftp_0.1_arm.ipk (http://zaurus.newkirk.us/tftp_0.1_arm.ipk) software. Does that work ? I see you had tried it....
Thanks !!!

Hello Again !!!
I Must be missing something....I pulled down the linux (debian) packages for both the tftp and tftpd server (from http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/t/tftp-hpa/) (http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/t/tftp-hpa/)) (tftp-hpa-0.28-2.arm.deb and tftpd-hpa-0.28-2.arm.deb) and did the extract process using the \"deb2tgz\" script. Once I had the binaries for both tools, I moved them to the zaurus and I got an error message about an \"unexpected error\". During the process on my redhat system (7.3) both the tftp and tftpd daemons worked ok. But no luck on the zaurus.
Any thoughts, hints (or executables !!! Would be GREATLY appreciated !!! (I\'m just about to offer a bounty on getting these to work ---$ 50.00)
Thank you in advance !!!

Any update on this? I can\'t see why this is so difficult to get working, but then again, I\'m not programmer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don\'t actually understand the command line above (posted by cajarosz) - I realise that\'s it\'s possible to make your prompt look like this, but I\'d guess this is not the case.
What do you get?
