Hi Community,
lots of people asked for it and here we go :
http://www.trisoft.de/en_c3000howto.htm (http://www.trisoft.de/en_c3000howto.htm)
The first revision of our english user manual for the
SL-C3000 series.
Have fun,

Thank you very much TRISoft! I think I'll go have a look now.
-
Thanks Trisoft, cleared up a few things! Like... what does this manual say ... ;-)
btw, on you website, the C3000 submenu says "SL-C860 How To" instead of C3000
-
i also noticed you seem to refer to the old ce-rh1 remote, there is a ce-rh2 model for the 3000 (not sure if it actually exists yet, or what the differences might be, but some shop staff were reluctant to sell me the old one for my 860 even though it seems to work fine).

You also ask for a solution about the addressbook application :
I have a C3000 and I put the 'addressbook.so' from the cacko rom into my my 3k
It looks great and you have the correct alphabet.

Thanks for the replys guys !
We're still testing all the stuff with the SL-C3000.
As we know from now, the CE-RH1 works with the
SL-C3000 but the controls have different meanings.
Some functions are on different places between the
CE-RH1 and CE-RH2, we're still testing this.
Sorry for the wrong headline on the website but we're
actually pretty busy to make the SL-C3000 available
in Europe so some typos may occur, we're working on
it.
@Cyril92: We have a contact to the cacko/pdaxrom
guys. Thanks for the hint with the addressbook we'll
talk with them soon
We're also going to release the backup with our
localisation this week. So check back on our site for
news. To enhance our Zaurus support in the US we
also partnered with the guys from streamlinecpus, so
the files will be mirrored on their site soon. Just check
www.streamlinecpus.com (http://www.streamlinecpus.com).
Have fun with your Zauris,

PS: A general info that is actually missing in the manual:
If you delete the dict1 and dict2 directories in the documents
area, you'll get >700 MB free space and will "miss" the
japanese dictionary.

Update on the CE-RH1 topic !
We tested the CE-RH1 with the SL-C3000 and it it
NOT working.
Looks like SHARP has not only changed the buttons
but also the resistance generated by the buttons.
Looks like you really need the CE-RH2 for the C3000.
We tested the CE-RH2 and it works without problems.
