Hi, has anyone compiled the matchbox windowmanager for pdaXrom?
Was there a problem with it that resulted in using obenbox instead?
Though about cross compiling it myself but I can't get to handhelds.org at the moment
cheers,
Alexei

I don't know if it helps , but matchbox can be had from the debian repositories. Why not get it from there?
-
Thanks for pointing that out .... I had though of that till I rediscovered fvwm. I think fvwm will do everyhing that I want a WM to do on the zaurus.
cheers,
Alexei

I recommend xfce4

I'd like to use xfce4, but I was waiting for a new binary, compiled with new sdk, in the feed. Did you recompile it?
-
no.
I've also been waiting ... since like last may or so :->
When the next rom comes out, I do want to go crazy compiling things.
xfce4 will be on the list.

Funny. I was waiting the last stable release too, as to massive app. porting
Maybe it's time to move on: it seems no sunstancial changes are going to appear in 1.1-stable
-
well
changes happened in rc3 or so.
that's why we have to recompile just about everything.
