Its been two years now since my Psion died and I bought a Z5500. Its now looking a little shabbie, big and slow but then I look at the new stuff.
The PPCs and XPDA phones and guess what. They still dont do half the stuff the Z can
We were doing stuff with video, USB and WIFI two years before IPAQ had the ability to do it.
Now the new 3000 is coming and I think hm why not use some of that 4GB as a bootable usb area to boot mandrake on making the pda the centre of the workplace

Its been a long time ambition of mine to have a portable / pda device that can run exactly the same apps when mobile and "docked" . Having used laptops n notebooks for years and haveing the neck problems from carrying them and now the problems getting a laptop through airport security....... It would be great to have a live distro on a usb drive which is also a pda with wifi / gprs suport. Think abaou it all the apps and files are the same : OK they run faster on a P4 PC but taking all the data with you and email / web access would be great.
