Title: Best Way To Completely Back Up The Zaurus Sl-6000l
Post by: soundwave106 on December 05, 2004, 07:32:34 pm
With all the programs I'm putting on the Zaurus, it would be a shame to lose the data to some nasty bump.  Therefore, I'm wondering what complete system backup solutions there are for the Zaurus SL-6000L.

My understanding (which may be incorrect) is that the "Backup / Restore" in the SL-6000L does not back up any modifications to kernel modifications that you've done (which I've done to mount Samba drives etc.). If that is the case, I don't like that option but elsewise I suppose I can use that (does the Backup / Restore also cover your SD card files?)

Ideally, I'd like a way to either backup to a network device (e.g. the PC I'm connected to) or at least a CF card.
