Title: Xmms Skins

How i can use skins for xmms?

i downloaded some skins (zip-files), copy to ~/.xmms/skins, run xmms-> skin browser. choose some skin and press "ok".

no effect

The directory should be ~/.xmms/Skins. I can change skins.

I had the same problem:

Start xmms from console and change the skin. If it complains about a missing unzip.
If it is missing. Unzip the skin on another computer and put the directory under skins.
That worked for me.

Installing the unzip ipk will allow Xmms to install the skins whilst they are kept compressed in their archives.
