Post by: anunakin on December 10, 2004, 01:37:05 pm
How to install bash on OZ/Opie 3.5.2? If I use ipkg/ipkg-link this damage the OZ instalation... and I needed a reflash! ... Any tips?

The default shell is busybox (/bin/sh -> busybox)... but when I try install bash this removes symlink "sh".... and cant do anymore... I need some help!?

The only way to use bash over busybox sh is to install it into / as it is needed at boot-time when sd and cf are not yet mounted.

Takes up quiet some space IIRC
