Title: Anyone Else's Zaurus Hang...
Post by: Mach10 on December 12, 2004, 04:29:34 am
... when trying to use Package Manager to install more than about 5 IPKs? God, this damn Zaurus is seriously more trouble than it's worth

Running 3.5.2 off of OpenZaurus, with the 32-32. It's pretty damn consistent. Works fine for less than 3 or 4, usually crashes with more.

Opie-Packagemanager has a known memory leak which is causing the problems you are seeing.
Remove it and use opie-aqpkg which has been very stable in my experience.

On the commandline.  First make sure you have aqpkg accesible to youin a feed or locally.
