Hi Folks,
I just got my SL-C3000 from PriceJapan. Excellent service and cheap.
I need a mains charger which will work in the UK. Has anyone bought one in the UK ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks.

Did you get a uk adaptor in the end?
I am in the same position and see from the Trisoft site that the original european (100-240 Volts) AC adaptor EA-70S for the SL5500 should work.
If so that would suit me as I have one.

Honestly,
I think that the best solution to this problem is to get one of the Samsung Digimax battery packs that Trisoft sells. That's what I use with my C700. The Samsung works with a dual-voltage mains supply which charges the battery pack. Then the battery pack charges up the Zaurus. Both can be happening at the same time, i.e. plug the Zaurus into the battery pack and the battery pack into the mains, then use the Zaurus like a desktop for hours and hours.
When I fly to America, I find that the Zaurus plus Digimax lasts long enough to pass the time on the long flights. I haven't measured it but I think the combo is roughly 5 times the capacity of the Zaurus alone, i.e. the Digimax holds about 4 charges.

I got one on Ebay from a company called htttp://www.online-international.co.uk it is an original EA-70S SHarp adapter and is new.

I can second the recommendation for the Samsung Digimax, it is excellent.

Just need the definitive confirmation, does the EA-70S work safely with the C3000?

Thanks for the confirmation that the EA-70S suits the C3000.
I am in UK and bought my Samsung Digimax from

If you are in Europe then Trisoft

In USA consider the excellent Power Runner Universal Battery from
http://www.laptopsforless.com/ (http://www.laptopsforless.com/)
Having said that, what I use all the time is 4AA rechargeable batteries (1.25v x 4 = 5v) in a cheap holder from Maplin. Pic attached
