Title: Strange Dhcp Behavior
Post by: nmos on December 20, 2004, 12:04:05 am
For some reason my new 6000L seems to be starting two instances of dhcpcd and as a result it's assigned address keeps changing.   I looked though the init scripts but I couldn't see where it is being started.  Any ideas?

Nmos,

I sure haven't seen that with my SL-6000! Perhaps it is the "card" you are using. What interface are you using? The internal 802.11b or something else?

Curious minds want to know more... ;-)

I'm using the built in wireless.  It doesn't always seem to do it either but I havn't been able to see a pattern.
