Title: Need Info About Two Bluetooth Cards Asap
Post by: maslovsky on December 21, 2004, 02:07:28 am
Hello everyone!

There is a very good chance that support for Belkin/Phillips/Dell 300 blueooth CF cards will be included in the next Cacko ROM 1.22 (in addition to the Billionton/Chronos CF cards).  If someone still owns one of those those cards or simply have access to them, please, post cardctl ident here. That will aloow me to update configuration files to properly initialize such cards.

Thanks,
Anton

Hi Maslovski,
i have an old  BELKIN-BT-Card F8T020 which only worked with PocketPC.  With Cacko 1.21b it says:
product info: "CF CARD", "GENERIC", "", ""
manfid: 0x0279, 0x950b
function: 2 (serial)

So it`s not recognized as BT so far. Maybe this helps.

OK, good! This means that the card is identical to the Dell/Phillips, which will be supported in 1.22 ROM.

Not necessarily:  unlike USB,  nobody sends out black helicopters to mutilate your cattle and kidnap your women if you ship a product with some other vendor's ID.

Iirc,  "0x0279, 0x950b" belongs to the Oxford UART that drives the serial interface to the radio,  and is also used by some completely different cards.

What Bluetooth codebase are you using for the drivers?   I have a Belkin card,  and might be able to test it in my 5500.
