Title: Decoding/encoding Updater.sh
Post by: ThC on December 23, 2004, 04:49:47 am
I remember having seen once a script that decode the updater.sh script used to update roms as the updater.sh script for c3000 is available from sharp (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://developer.ezaurus.com/sl_j/source/c3000/kernel_update_c3000.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dc3000%2Bupdater%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D) and as I would now receive my c3000 soon I think I'll try to make my own x11 based rom for it waiting for pdaXrom to be available  (well, going to try compiling my own pdaXrom using the dev kit, the c3000's 2.4.20 kernel and this updater script but I don't know if it need to be modified for that) ... So can someone give me a link to this script please ?

The original Yamashita endecsh.c link is at the bottom of this page:
http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~rimemoon/zaurus/memo_008.htm (http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~rimemoon/zaurus/memo_008.htm)

You may want to compare the two.
