All,
opie-mediaplayer2 installed with ipkg on an sd card. Attempts to play an mp3 file result in an error message:
no input plugin found for this media type
The file is mp3.
How can I debug this? What is the input plugin for mp3? Is there a howto for mediaplayer? Is it up to date?
Thanks,
Dan

This install was on a reflashed Z. The mediaplayer install picked up residual playlists.
When mediaplayer was pointed to an mp3 file it was able to play.
Attempts to play those files produced the error. Where are play lists kept? Is there a way to put a play list on a card and have it added and removed with the card?
Is there doc for mediaplayer? The commands as described are not obvious.
How can a playlist be deleted?
Thanks,
Dan

I presume you have a C machine (/home isn't wiped when you flash), in which case, have a look in ~/ (dirs might be hidden so ls -a) and see if you can find the config/playlist files.
You could also take a look at the code and see where it saves its data.
