Has anyone had any experience with the Samsung D500?
I'm thinking of replacing my Nokia 6230, cus of the bluetooth/GPRS problems mentioned here (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=9415), and I like the look of the Samsung.
I'm not a big Ericsson fan - had them before and have never really got on with them, but it's looking like the SE K700i is the other option.
Anyone using either of these phones with their Zaurus? Or is there another phone I should look at?

Hi,
I recently upgraded from SE-T68i to SE-K700i. Uhm... I like th camera-on-the-phone feature very much.
As far as zaurus-phone connectivity,
1) I didn't have any proble with my t68i
2) with the k700i, I just changed the CID (connection ID) and kept same settings as with the t68i and the Zaurus paired and connected, but strangely:
zaurus doesn't get an IP from the grps network
zaurus can resolve hostnames using the configured dns server
zaurus cannot ping anything
=> I still have to investigate the issue. I'll post an update when done

I use my SL5500 with an SE-K700i all the time (via a Bluemonkey bluetooth card). Works perfectly (GPRS connection on the UK's O2 network).
Haven't tried it with my SL6000 yet though......

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with the K700i...
There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of info on the D500, and the fact that it's Samsung's first bluetooth phone (and that Nokia still can't get bt right), sounds like a sure recipe for disaster to me

Update: the connection with my k700i works very well. I had a problem with the gprs configuration; after copying the configuration from the t68i to the k700i, everything worked again.
Man, I love the k700.
