Title: How To Make Applications More Stable?

Applications crashes when memory is over. E.g., dillo hangs after two big pages. Is there any way to force it to set free the memory faster? I don't sure that dillo do it in general.
P.S. I found only one way out: i made a swap partition on my sd.
