Title: What\'s I made wrong?
Post by: pedro-escobar on January 07, 2004, 12:10:06 pm
Evening. I take my SD 512 mb from my Z and uses an USB reader for my  SuSE 9.0 box. At SuSE, the card have 512 mb and right ext2 files system. This is the mistery: when I take it to my Z then read only 256 mb (?).
Can you help me? I can\'t understand what\'s wrong. Maybe I need to (re)formating again. I don\'t know.
What\'s you think about it?

Best regards,

Pedro

you can try to partition the card with fdisk into 2 256MB partitions then just mount the second partion as /dev/mmcda2

I\'m a noobie, but I want to use 2 partitions on my 512mb cf card, one ext2 and one fat16.
Any chance of step-by-step instructions? (from using fdisk to mounting the second partition)
Please?
