Is there any handy, general way to maximize application windows as soon as they are launched (esp under the default matchbox)? Editing the .desktop files or adding options do not always work and seem to be application-specific. Or is it possible to use the "Maximize" function in the window drop down menu as a command somewhere?
It would be wonderful if this comes true. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry I was so stupid that I missed this hit in my searches. My apology.

But then, I would still like to ask if there's still any way (or hope) to specify this shortcut somewhere, such as .desktop files or alias?

for me Ctrl-Alt-m is a shortcut (defined in /etc/xdg/openbox/rc.xml)
what do you mean by "shortcut"?

Pardon my poor way of putting it. What I mean is to have this Ctrl-Alt-m run by a command, which, if available, can be specified and run together with the applications, rather than using the key combo every time after launching the apps. It just feels just not the most convenient way if the very first action of using an app is to "maximize" it. Thank you!
