Read it: [a href=\"http://mail.pdaxrom.org/node/106]http://mail.pdaxrom.org/node/106[/url]
Use the new uBOOT:
pdaXrom-1.1.0r121-Kathrin-u-boot-akita-current.zip (http://www.pdaxrom.org/download/1.1.0r121/Zaurus-Cxx00/pdaXrom-1.1.0r121-Kathrin-u-boot-akita-current.zip)

Try it to reinstall uBOOT ...
1- Remove battery
2- Hold (OK)
3- Plug power supply and start uBOOT instalation

Or try recovery u boot, and next try again to install uBOOT, verify the MD5 sums of the files at SD, after remount...

Ouch!  Can you get into the Emergency Diagnostic Menu?  I you don't know what I am referring to follow the usually Diag Menu instructions but, when you get to the part where it says press and hold the D and M keys; press and hold Fn, D and M instead.  If it works you should be in a special diag menu stored in a real ROM not NAND.  You can tell you are in it because the Service screen headers are in black instead of red.  If you can get in there then you are NAND restore away from non-brickhood.

I noticed you are from Canada.  If you in Winnipeg I can provide you with a barebones NAND backup of beta 3 that I made over the weekend for someone else on the forums.

Provide more detail on what EXACTLY you did while flashing, then we can provide more help. Don't panic, it's hard to brick your Z completely by flashing.

It shouldn't be possible to brick the C1000. The Diagnostics Menu and so on always work and cannot be destroyed. If it is destroyed than it is more likely that it is a hardware problem!

As the most said: Unplug the Zaurus from power and take off the battery. While pressing D and M plug in the power.

still dead after leaving the battery out of the unit over night and trying your suggestions (thank you very much) but it still won't power up. It really seems to be dead. okay what I did was I copied over the files to my CF card to flash from. The files I first used were: Zaurus SL-Cxx00 pdaXrom-1.1.0r121-Kathrin-akita-current.zip.  I tried that and it just would not flash. then I saw this other zip file for the SL-1000: Zaurus SL-Cxx00 U-boot/Emergency pdaXrom-1.1.0r121-Kathrin-u-boot-akita-current.zip and tried flashing with thoses files. it started to flash and all of a sudden it powered down and now it shows no signs of life at all! is there anyone or place that can fix my Zaurus.

good news everyone... I have power again and It's working again after removing the battery and removing the CF card and holding the OK button and plugging the power back in seems to have done the trick. As it turned back on I got this message on the screen (please look at screen shot) so now what should I do?

also a big thank you to all who chimed in. I truly thought that was it for my little Zaurus..

Whoa!  Did I read that right?  You copied the over the flash files from your CF card to your internal flash then tried to do the update to the internal flash from the internal flash!

It is a bad idea to even try to do that.  I surprised that the Z even let you try it.
