Anyone know if the Camera2 API has been enabled in 8.1? Or if it can be?

I've been trying to use the Moment Pro camera app & it refuses to run because 'certain features are not available'. Which I put down to Camera2 not being enabled.

Found an app called Camera2 API Probe, shows that only the Legacy API is enabled
